Warren Fay writes to Amos A. Phelps that he is "aggrieved and injured" that Phelps held him up to public in his (Phelps's) criticism on the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions in relation to the issue of corporate membership. He calls Phelps's action unkind and unchristian.
