Description:
Thomas Phillips informs William Lloyd Garrison that his non-appearance at the Crystal Palace was a sore disappointment, but adds that over 30,000 were in attendance, and notes that Garrison's letter was read aloud to those assembled. Phillips conveys to Garrison the details of their upcoming meetings for the month of October, 1867, and states his hopes that Garrison will be able to join them as much as possible.
