Description:
Joseph Lupton writes William Lloyd Garrison his regrets to have been appraised of Garrison's ill health. Lupton announces the decision taken to "adjourn the intended Meeting" to 21 October, and declares that such postponement would permit Garrison to join them at "much less cost to [their] health & strength". Lupton states that George Thompson is likely to be visiting Leeds around this time.
