Letter from Oliver Johnson, New York, [N.Y.], to William Lloyd Garrison, Dec[ember] 10,1867
Description:
Oliver Johnson writes William Lloyd Garrison informing him that all the necessary arrangements have been made for his hosting of Garrison upon the latter's arrival in New York that afternoon, but that he had been informed by Wendell Phillips that Garrison would not be arriving until Friday. Johnson states that should circumstances dictate, he would only be too happy to host Garrison on another occasion.
