Letter from James Miller M'Kim, Llewellyn Park, [N.J.], to William Lloyd Garrison, Dec[ember] 15, [1867]
Description:
James Miller M'Kim writes William Lloyd Garrison to express his disappointment in learning that Garrison's arrival will be delayed by a full week, and that Garrison has dismissed M'Kim's proposal for Garrison to undertake a lecture tour to Chicago as "out of the question". M'Kim begs Garrison reconsider this proposal, stating that both Toledo and Chicago are exceedingly eager to hear Garrison speak, and states that such a tour would be of great usefulness to Garrison both physically and financially.
