Oliver Johnson writes William Lloyd Garrison inquiring if he will be in attendance at the Yearly Meeting in Longwood. Johnson states that Garrison was absent from the previous year's meeting, and that while he fears that Garrison's recent bout of lameness will "interpose an insurmontable obstacle" to his participation, he nonetheless hopes that Garrison will be able to make the journey, and promises to ensure that no heavy workload will burden him should he come.
