Letter from Samuel Johnson, Salem, [Mass.], to William Lloyd Garrison, May 15 [18]65
Description:
Samuel Johnson sends to Wililam Lloyd Garrison a copy of a sermond delivered on "our Providential Man". Johnson proposes that Garrison publish this should he appreciate it and find the space, but insists that he will not take it amiss otherwise. Johnson states that he will be journeying to Brooklyn shortly, and inquires if Garrison might be available to tend to his pulpit in his absence.
