Description:
Sarah Moore Grimke writes Francis Jackson Garrison stating that she has earlier received his note, but had refrained from responding due to construing his promise to send her a copy of the book which he was set to publish (entitled "Joseph Mazzini") to indicate that she should await receipt of the work prior to responding. Grimke states that she is "daily expecting" the work, and presumes that it will be a "most valued addition" to her library, owing to her interest in Mazzini and the provenance of the gift. Grimke thanks Garrison for taking charge of her manuscript and coordinating the search for a publisher.||Sarah Moore Grimke pens a secondary note to Helen Garrison following her letter to Francis Jackson Garrison in which she sends her love to Helen and William Lloyd Garrison. Grimke inquires if William Lloyd Garrison published a notice of William Haskell's death in the Golden Age.
