This letter is written in the third person, probably by someone other than Miss Elizabeth Rotch Arnold. Miss Arnold is returning the portfolio of facsimiles to Miss Weston, but is retaining a volume of autographs of kings and queens of England. Miss Arnold is willing to pay eight dollars, but if the ladies prefer not to dispose of it at that price, she will return it, as she could probably procure a copy directly from London for less than ten dollars.
