Hannah M. Bevan had great pleasure in preparing the box of articles for the Boston anti-slavery fair. The greater part of the contents were contributed by Esther Sturge. Hannah M. Bevan tells of the contributions made by her own little children and their eagerness to help.
In the postscript, Hannah M. Bevan emphasizes that the box is connected with and part of the contribution of the Glasgow Female Anti-Slavery Society.
