Letter from Oliver Johnson, [Place of publication not identified], to William Lloyd Garrison, July 21, 1859
Description:
Oliver Johnson sends William Lloyd Garrison his regrets at being unable to free himself from his hosts in Providence so as to make a trip to Boston, but states that he greatly enjoyed his respite from his editorial responsibilities. Johnson states that Mary Anne remains in Providence for the present, but will be stopping in Boston the following week prior to heading to New Hampshire and Vermont to visit family. Johnson bemoans his lack of time or money with which to accompany her.
