Letter from Oliver Johnson, New York, [N.Y.], to William Lloyd Garrison, 24 April, 1863
Description:
Oliver Johnson forwards to Garrison a letter destined to the Executive Committee, as well as an issue of "The Chrisitan Luminary" (for Garrison to peruse). Johnson reports that Mr. Hatfield has declined to lecture for them, and that he has yet to receive a response from Mr. Sloane. Johnson inquires if Garrison has received any notice from Theodore Weld concerning the lecture series.
