Letter from Samuel May, Jr., Leicester [Mass.], to James Miller M'Kim, Nov[ember] 16 / [18]65
Description:
Samuel May Jr. thanks R. D. Webb for his remark on May’s article that appeared in a recent issue of the Liberator. May expresses his displeasure with the current editorial direction of the Liberator under “C.K.W.” (Charles K. Whipple?) during William Lloyd Garrison’s absence. May then talks about A. T. Foss, whom McKim is considering employing as a “collector” in Vermont.
