Description:
Beriah Green writes to Amos A. Phelps to ask his assistance in correcting the injustice done to Mr. Kerp by the reporters. He suggests that Phelps ask Charles Stuart for assistance for this matter as well. After describing the history of his own work in antislavery and the difficulty he is having in raising funds for his efforts, Green says he needs help from his friends. He asks Phelps to show this letter to [Elizur] Wright, who may be able to say something publicly about this.
