Letter from E. D. Moore, Boston, to Amos Augustus Phelps, 1846 January 19
Description:
In this letter to Amos A. Phelps, Erasmus Darwin Moore says that he had to divide Phelps’s next article for the Boston Recorder into two parts to be published in two different issues. After expressing his approval for Phelps’s work at the “Reporter,” Moore talks about the current issues of a few other publications, including the Christian Examiner. He says the paper did not contain “a letter,” but if it does in a future issue, he will keep a copy of it for Phelps. He says Stowe will make a short answer to Phelps’s letter.
