Letter from E. D. Moore, Wrentham, to Amos Augustus Phelps, August 9th 1845
Description:
In this letter to Amos A. Phelps, Erasmus Darwin Moore writes that the “Reporter … is likely to have a thorough reading” in his region. He says that he did not cover the “Reporter” in the “Recorder” in the way he wanted, because of Martin Moore’s aversion to going against the Board (presumably the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions). However, two articles soon to be published side by side on the “Recorder” will serve the “Reporter” well.
Holograph, signed.
