Letter from George William Perkins, Meriden, to Amos Augustus Phelps, Aug. 30. 1845
Description:
In this letter to Amos A. Phelps, George William Perkins writes that he is unable to attend "the Board” meeting at Brooklyn owing to ill health. He says Mr. Bacon and Br. Beecher both disagree with “the Board” but are afraid of being associated with Phelps. He says they will probably react when Dr. Woods's report comes up.
