A boy wearing a suit and cap holds the reins of a horse drawing a meat cart, which is on dirt road with grass and trees in the background. Next to him, a man in a suit and boater hat is seated. The horse has pompoms in its bridle and the sign “Nelson Broadway” across its flank. On the cart, signs read “Clean Fresh Meats I'm fussy but it pays” and “Household Supplies Home of Square Dealing.”

Notes:
Handwritten note kept with the photograph states that this is “Nelson Bradway's Meat Cart, part of 1913 parade” in the celebration of Wilbraham's 1950th anniversary. Nelson Bradway was born about 1885 and married Ethel Mowry (daughter of DeWitt Mowry and Sarah Collins) in 1911.
