Handwriting on the back reads “Morton Lyman Day donor of funds to Hampden Churches and Library in the kitchen of the Alvin Day homestead now Ba[illegible] Ames Road” About 1915? Morton Lyman Day (or Lyman Morton Day) was born in 1846 to Lyman and Chloe Day in what was then Wilbraham. He died in 1915.
