Notes:
Handwriting on the back reads “Your loving friend Mary E. Howard.” The cabinet card may have been a graduation photograph. Mary Elizabeth Howard was born to Rev. Martin Stoddard Howard and Mary Carlton in Medway, Massachusetts in 1867. By the 1880 census, they lived in Wilbraham. Mary was still single and living with her parents in 1910 when she was listed in the census as a music teacher. That same year, she married Horace Green.
