Louis E. Lenheim Hall
Item Information
- Title:
- Louis E. Lenheim Hall
- Description:
-
To meet the pressing need for a new men's dormitory, president Larry Stump decided to implement building concepts he had seen in California and Southeast Asia during and after World War II. When complete, the building, with its turquoise blue panels around the windows, reflected a modern 1950s look in sharp contrast to other campus buildings. This view, taken from George Hill Road, shows the dormitory in the early 1960s.
