There are two letters on this manuscript. The first is a note from Wendell Phillips to Maria Weston Chapman. Phillips gives instructions about an article in the Liberator newspaper on the Episcopal Convention.
In the middle of page one, there is a letter from Maria Weston Chapman presumably to Anne Warren Weston. Chapman asks Anne W. Weston to send in her material for an article. Mrs. Brooks is preparing for an [anti-slavery] fair.
