Tuscumbia, Ala. July 5th, 1891 Mr. M. Anagnos So. Boston, Mass My dear Sir Miss Annie and Helen arrived at home safely on Wednesday last, after spending a week at Mr. Wade's. He wrote me on Helen's arrival at his house that she was much fatigued, and he thought she needed at least a week's rest. They had pleasant weather in which to finish their journey and came home in fine health and spirits. "The Fourth of July" was celebrated with us by the arrival of a noisy, if not patriotic, young American citizen who came at 1:00 P.M. Helen is delighted beyond expression and is not satisfied until she has been on her lap. I think she has grown considerably and improved marvellously in every respect.
