A young girl stands in a small wooden cart, holding the reins to a harnessed donkey. The young girl appears to be wearing a costume and the donkey wears decorative tack, some of which appears to have rows of bells attached. Attached atop the donkey's head is a large tuft of feathers. Another tuft of feathers is attached to the tack on the donkey's back. The cart to which the donkey is harnessed and the cart's wheels are elaborately painted. Just visible between the trees in leaf in the background is a gathering of adults and children.
