Holograph, signed.
It is difficult for William Lloyd Garrison to leave the convention early with so many themes still to be discussed. Garrison and Theodore D. Weld spoke at a meeting of black people and leading abolitionists. Garrison's scrofula is in his throat and is malignant. The Grimké's were invited to speak at the convention. After having talked to hundreds of well treated slaves, Sarah Grimké never found one who did not long to be free.
