Holograph, signed.
Helen Eliza Benson Garrison regrets that she was not able to attend Henry Egbert Benson's obsequies. Regarding Henry E. Benson's death, William Lloyd Garrison believes: "But we must not mourn as do those who repine at the decrees of Heaven. All is right, for God has done it." William L. Garrison escaped injury in a broken down car. Henry E. Benson's death will be treated at greater length in the next issue of the Liberator.
