William Lloyd Garrison is anxious that Samuel Joseph May joins the Non-Resistance Society. Amendments were made to the Declaration of Sentiments and the Constitution. Amos B. Alcott, Robert F. Wallcut, Edmund Quincy are ready to sign the Declaration; Wallcut and Quincy will also join the society. Garrison explains the paradox of opposition to political and ecclesiastical organizations and his approval of the Non-Resistance Society.
