William Lloyd Garrison is sorry to hear that Theodore Parker's ill health requires an ocean voyage in winter and residence in a foreign climate. He pays tribute to Parker's work for the good of mankind, his fight against political corruption, and religious bigotry, etc. Garrison thanks Parker for his acts of kindness. He praises Mrs. Theodore Parker and Miss Stevenson. Mrs. Hamilton Willis sends a message that if Dr. Howe cannot go abroad with Theodore Parker, Mr. Willis would like to be his traveling companion.
