Holograph, signed with initials.
The Executive Committee meeting was held today to dicuss the question of the future of the National Anti-Slavery Standard. It was voted to raise the funds necessary for its continuance. Paid subscribers to the Anti-Slavery Bugle will be supplied with the Standard. William Lloyd Garrison trusts that Oliver Johnson will stay on as editor until a competent successor is found. There has been some criticism of the appearance of the American flag in the Standard. It should be withdrawn.
