William Lloyd Garrison thanks Henry Clarke Wright for his "kind, congratulatory letter on my safe return home." Garrison doesn't think that he alone should have received all the praise for the success of the abolitionist cause. His health improved while traveling abroad, but he is now suffering from "severe pleurisy inflammation, and a return of my old catarrhal troubles, from which I was happily exempted abroad." If his health permits, Garrison plans to lecture in Music Hall before the Parker Fraternity.
