Letter from John Bishop Estlin, Bristol, to Samuel May, Feb. 25, 1848
Description:
Estlin encloses money for subscriptions to "The Liberator" and other anti-slavery papers for himself and others. He asks May's advice on Richard Davis Webb's plan to lecture on "free labor produce." Estlin has doubts as to its value, but Mrs. Anna H. Richardson is urging it. Russell Lant Carpenter wants to know why the address from Bridgewater, England has not been answered.
