Description:
May says that his friends are in favor of trying out Maria Weston Chapman's plan instead of holding another Anti-Slavery Fair in Boston. He tells Webb that the British and Irish contributions should go to Philadelphia. May reports that Parker Pillsbury and his daughter have been very ill. He praises the stand of "The Anti-Slavery Advocate" on the Julia Griffiths mortgage issue and says that Hinton Rowan Helper got into a fight with Congressman Francis Burton Craige.
