Description:
Webb describes John Wilson at length and says that he believes Wilson to have been a member of John Brown's party during the Harpers Ferry raid. Webb tells May that Wilson is not optimistic about the future of abolitionism. Webb asks for a photograph of John Brown.
Addressed from "Greenfield, Kilgobbin, 7 miles from Dublin, near the mountains."
Envelope is addressed to 21 Cornhill, Boston, and includes original postage stamp.
