COPY NOTE: Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy H.102.11 formerly comprised the first part of a volume that also contained: 2. The general laws and liberties of the Massachusets Colony (Evans 168), with session laws for 1672, 1672-1673, and 1674 (Evans 169, 177, 190) -- 3. The book of the general laws for the people within the jurisdiction of Conecticut (Evans 173). That volume was disbound at the BPL and broken into three parts, now cataloged separately under call numbers: H.102.11 (the present volume), H.101.21 nos.1-4, and H.102.77.
BINDING: Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy H.102.11 bound in modern brown paper over boards. Originally bound by John Ratcliff in blind tooled sheepskin over pasteboards, the initials "W.L." stamped in blind on both covers. Later disbound, retaining original upper cover, with a lower cover of ca. 18th-/19th-century mottled calfskin apparently added by the BPL bindery. H.102.77 retains lower cover from original Ratcliff binding.
