COPY NOTE: Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy H.102.77 formerly comprised the third part of a volume bound by John Ratcliff that also contained: 1. The book of the general laws of the inhabitants of the jurisdiction of New-Plimouth (Evans 171) -- 2. The general laws and liberties of the Massachusetts Colony (Evans 168), and session laws for 1672, 1672-1673, and 1674 (Evans 169, 177, 190). That volume was disbound at the BPL and broken into three parts, now cataloged separately under call numbers: H.102.11, H.101.21 nos.1-4, and H.102.77 (the present volume).
BINDING: Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy H.102.77 bound in modern brown paper over boards. Originally bound by John Ratcliff in blind tooled sheepskin over pasteboards, the initials "W.L." stamped in blind on both covers. Later disbound, retaining original lower cover but left without any upper cover. H.102.11 retains upper cover from original Ratcliff binding.
