Letter from Amos Augustus Phelps, Salem, to Charlotte Phelps, June 12, 1834
Description:
Amos A. Phelps writes to his wife, Charlotte, that he will not be home as soon as was at first intended. He says he will be at Wrentham in the following week, and spend the Sabbath at Worcester. He says Emily Fitch is married; he had tea with her. He then describes the “stormy time” he had at the meeting at Concord.
