On behalf of the New England Anti-Slavery Society, Benjamin C. Bacon writes to Amos A. Phelps that he is enclosing two documents: an account of the “Maryland Scheme” and Phelps’s other account with the Society. He comments on the considerable spending for “Oasis.”
