Amos A. Phelps describes to his wife, Charlotte, the details of the convention he attended. (It was a large, successful meeting with more than a hundred people attending; a state Antislavery society is formed auxiliary to the American society.) He says he will not be able to be home until after the 1st of November. There is much work to be done.
