Letter from James Miller M'Kim, Phil[adelphi]a, [Pa.], to William Lloyd Garrison, Dec[ember] 16 / [18]53
Description:
James Miller M'Kim forwards to William Lloyd Garrison a letter which arrived in a packet from England, declaring that he would like to know of its contents should it be from George Thompson. M'Kim rejoices that Thompson is engaged in the abolitionist cause in England, and informs Garrison that he hopes to have Thompson lecture in England for 6-12 months prior to engaging him to lecture in the United States for a year.
