Letter from Samuel Joseph May, Syracuse, N.Y., to William Lloyd Garrison, May 1, 1867
Description:
Samuel J. May gives William Lloyd Garrison some suggestions on the cities to visit while in Europe, as well as some matters to consider in relation to the convention Garrison is attending there. May then talks about his daughter and her husband who has just returned from Europe, who met Garrison’s children and son-in-law in Paris. In the postscript, May asks Garrison some feedback on his “antislavery reminiscences” being published in the Christian Register.
