Correspondence between A. A. Phelps, W. S. Porter, and E. A. Andrews, January 20 - Feburary 13, 1838
Description:
A. A. Phelps asks W. S. Porter to publish a certain “communication” before the annual meeting in Massachusetts and Maine. E. A. Andrews replies to Phelps that no articles have been published in “Rel. Magazine” without being previously submitted to its editors. Phelps replies to Andrews that, although he was aware of the fact, he wanted to know whether the magazine may publish the correction of errors. He presents reasons why his articles should be published, and asks whether there would be any chance that it might be published provided that it is submitted to the editors. Andrews responds that he cannot give any opinion regarding the matter until the article is submitted to the editors.
