Letter from Edwin Leigh, New York, [N.Y.], to William Lloyd Garrison, Oct[ober] 26, 1869
Description:
Edwin Leigh thanks William Lloyd Garrison for his letter, stating that it was "of great service" to him. Leigh reports that his paper was well-received by the managers of the Association. Leigh asserts that his efforts to have the managers appoint a committee were ignored until he displayed to them Garrison's letter upon the final day of the meeting, at which point they immediately moved to appoint a committee.
