Letter from Samuel May, Jr., Leicester, [Mass.], to William Lloyd Garrison, Jan[uary] 19 / [18]74
Description:
Samuel May, Jr. writes Francis Jackson Garrison expressing his surprise that Garrison received his note, which May states was placed in a folded copy of his February edition of the Atlantic, and thus misplaced. May informs Garrison that he has one copy remaining of the "3d Decade" pamphlet, and that he is glad to have it go into Garrison's hands. May asserts his hopes that Whittier will "go fully & interestingly" into the "A.S. Reminiscences".
