James Miller M'Kim states his delight at having learned, from a letter from Mrs. May to Mrs. M'Kim, of Helen Garrison's improved health, and expresses his "great sympathy" to Garrison during this difficult period of his wife's ill health. M'Kim announces that he has been reading Garrison's "bout with Mr. Phillips" with "intense interest".
