Letter from Amos Augustus Phelps, Boston, to Charlotte Phelps, Jan. 8. 1835

Amos A. Phelps writes to his wife, Charlotte, that he is detained in Boston. He says he’d like to disconnect the Liberator from the New England Anti-Slavery Society. If this happens, the affairs of the society may come under his control and he would be able to be at home most of the time. He then discusses his schedule for the winter.
