Description:
Amos A. Phelps writes to his wife, Charlotte, about his recent activities and the reason to be in Buffalo. In Le Roy, he had a quite meeting to form an antislavery society in spite of some disturbance. He then mentions some trouble Thompson had in Concord. He says people in the American Anti-Slavery Society approves of his leaving the agency, and are talking about the possibility of his working for "the Spectator" or "the Free Church."
