Description:
Samuel Joseph May writes William Lloyd Garrison that the arrangments have been made for Garrison's lectures in Syracuse, informing him that they have secured use of Shakspeare Hall on the 8th, and at Oneida on the 9th. May relays to Garrison that the subject for the lectures is to be "The State of our Country and our duties to the Freedmen", with proceeds from the lecture going to the Syracuse Freedman's Relief Association. May informs Garrison that his expenses will be fully paid, and that he will receive for each lecture the sum of $50.
