Description:
Parker Pillsbury apologizes to William Lloyd Garrison for his omission in his article for "The Liberator" of details pertaining to certificates by Gerrit Smith. Pillsbury comments on Smith's contradictory relationship to the cause, and to the American Anti-Slavery Society in particular, and adds that he has "long wished to hear [Pillsbury's] humble testimony against Gerrit Smith".
