Description:
In this letter to Amos A. Phelps, Orange Scott discusses his plan for writing articles for various papers, including the “Abolitionist.” He discusses the matter related to the “Abolitionist,” and questions whether Phelps is “not a little too much afraid of opposing Garrison and his [associates].” He suggests that the resolution passed in a meeting in favor of forming a new organization be published in the “Abolitionist.” He further discusses matters related to the new organization, including a few potential agents.
