John Bishop Estlin says that F. Douglass's Narrative was translated into French by Miss Kate Parks, but "the work has remained unsold on Pagnerre's shelves." Estlin gives ideas regarding what to do with unsold anti-slavery books. Estlin said: "Your brother Dr. [Hervey] Weston kindly contributed 20 francs towards expenses," and J. O. Murray arranged for printing. Estlin received Jay's "Review of the Mexican War." William Henry Channing has not replied to Estlin's letter regarding the portrait of [William Ellery?] Channing. The Carpenters are expecting a visit from Eliza Lee Cabot Follen.
